The new CCC for LED lighting in roads and tunnels has been officially released

Recently, the lighting industry has welcomed two important national standards. According to the National Standard Information Public Service Platform, the national standards "Performance Specification for Road and Street Lighting Fixtures" and "Performance Specification for LED Fixtures for Tunnel Lighting" were officially released on April 30th and will be fully implemented from November 1st. The introduction of these two new national standards will provide a more scientific and unified technical basis for urban road, street and tunnel lighting engineering in China, and promote the LED lighting industry to move towards high-quality and standardized direction.

Performance Specification for Road and Street Lighting Fixtures

The "Performance Specification for Road and Street Lighting Fixtures" mainly focuses on functional lighting fixtures in public places such as urban roads and streets, and puts forward clear requirements for key indicators such as optical performance, electrical safety, durability, reliability, and environmental adaptability, aiming to comprehensively improve the quality and energy efficiency of road lighting. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Lighting Appliances (TC224), implemented by the Lamp Branch of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Lighting Appliances (TC224SC2), and supervised by the China Light Industry Federation.
