The first phase of the 1 billion yuan microdisplay project was officially put into operation.

On September 20, according to the propaganda department of the Nanjing Jiangning District Committee, the first phase of the Nanjing Guozhao Photoelectric OLED microdisplay device expansion project was officially completed and put into production.

It is reported that the total investment of Nanjing Guozhao Photoelectric OLED microdisplay device expansion project reached 1 billion yuan, covering an area of 50 mu, with a planned total construction area of 45,000 square meters. The project plans to build a new 12-inch silicon-based OLED (also known as MicroOLED) microdisplay device production line and an 8-inch silicon-based Micro-LED mass production line. When completed, it will form an annual production capacity of 12-inch wafers and 8-inch wafers, achieving an annual output of 4 million monitors, and the output value will increase by 1.3 billion yuan.

According to reports, the first phase of the project, which was put into operation, invested 400 million yuan, with a construction area of about 25,000 square meters. At present, the first phase of the core production capacity carrier, a production line with an annual output of 4 million ultra-high-resolution silicon-based OLED microdisplays, has completed equipment installation and commissioning and officially put into production and operation.
