LG Electronics supplies LED movie screens to Korean cinemas

Recently, LG Electronics announced that it will supply the LED movie screen "LG Miraclass" to the MegaBox COEX cinema branch located in Gangnam District, Seoul, South Korea.

Currently, LG Electronics has installed LG Miraclass LED movie screens in two theaters in South Korea and launched the "MEGA LED" special theater operation project. LG Electronics previously revealed that it plans to expand the application of LED movie screens to three Korean cinemas by the end of April this year. It is reported that LG Electronics has also added an LG Miraclass LED movie screen system to the upcoming MegaBox Dongji Cinema branch in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.
It is understood that the LG Miraclass LED movie screen system has 4K resolution and LED self-luminous pixels, which can significantly improve the display contrast and color reproduction capabilities, and enhance the immersion of movie viewing by presenting an entire screen with uniform brightness.
In terms of brightness, the LG Miraclass LED movie screen has five adjustment levels, from 48nits to a maximum of 300nits. The brightness is suitable for the screening needs of 2D and 3D movies, and is also suitable for holding meetings, previews and other activities.
It is worth noting that LG Electronics will It has realized the commercialization of LED movie screens for the first time, and launched the LED movie screen brand "LG Miraclass" in 2023. Currently, LG Electronics has provided LED movie screen solutions to more than 20 movie theaters in more than 10 countries and regions around the world, including Merrill Mall in the United States, Spain, France and Thailand. It is expected that LG Miraclass LED cinema screens will complete more installation applications in Australia and Morocco in the first half of this year.
