At the just-concluded CIOE 2026 China Optical Expo, Savlus' quantum dot exhibition area brought a major upgrade. QD Plus Extreme Black, a new product iteratively built on the flagship QD Plus platform, made its public debut. The product was officially named "Quantum Black Crystal" and released to the public. With its ultimate black performance, it brings differentiated module solutions to the large-screen commercial display market.

In the display industry, "making black pure" has always been an important benchmark for the image quality of a large number of large screens. Many display products are prone to suffer from graying of the black level and loss of layering when playing back dark field images. The "Quantum Black Crystal" screen relies on the core technology of Severus' self-developed NPQD® nanopore quantum dot R series red light chip. On the basis of retaining the original advantages of the QD Plus series, it focuses on overcoming the black display problem and achieving a qualitative leap in black level performance.

1. High contrast, light and dark tension create an immersive look and feel
Equipped with NPQD® nanopore quantum dot R series red light chips, combined with a new black field optimization process, to enhance the dynamic range. The bright parts are transparent but not overexposed, the dark parts are pure and not gray, and the light and shadow levels are completely preserved. Contents such as night scenes and dark-toned videos have a stronger three-dimensional sense and an outstanding sense of immersion.
2. High brightness, the picture is still transparent in strong light environment

It can accurately restore the true colors of promotional videos, artistic images, and real-shot materials, with natural color transitions, reducing color casts and color overflow, and meeting professional color requirements for commercial displays.
4. Large viewing angle, multi-position viewing without compromising picture quality
Optimizing the quantum dot COB optical path design to achieve large horizontal and vertical viewing angles and alleviate side-view brightness attenuation and color cast. In multi-person scenes such as exhibition halls, lecture halls, and command centers, the viewing effect is uniform from the front and side, and is suitable for various complex commercial spaces.
5. Excellent color consistency, the whole screen has a unified look and feel
Full-link management and control from chips, quantum dot materials to module correction, controlling brightness and chromaticity deviations inside and outside the module. Large-screen splicing has no light and dark gaps or color block boundaries. Seamless color matching can also be achieved by replacing modules, reducing later maintenance costs and providing stable and unified image quality over the long term.
