01. Flip-chip packaging design, achieving new breakthroughs in light efficiency

The EMC5050 series integrates multiple high-quality flip-chips and adopts the flip-chip welding process and total reflection packaging process independently developed by Nationstar Optoelectronics - the former shortens the heat dissipation path and allows heat to be exported faster; the latter fully collects and utilizes lateral light to improve light utilization.

The collaborative optimization of the two brings the EMC5050 series to a new level in the dimension of light efficiency, supporting the device's high light efficiency performance of 240lm/W at 1W power.

02. EMC packaging process, reliability can stand verification

In addition to light efficiency, reliability is the core indicator that outdoor and industrial lighting customers pay attention to.

To this end, Nationstar Optoelectronics uses the flip-chip EMC packaging process on the EMC5050 series to replace the traditional packaging solution to maintain excellent light efficiency and structural stability in high temperature and high humidity environments. At the same time, it cooperates with anti-sulfide packaging technology to form a dense protective barrier layer to block sulfide erosion. At the same time, efforts are made from both the material and structure ends to comprehensively improve the weather resistance of the device.

It has been verified by the laboratory that this product can withstand more than 1,000 high and low temperature hot and cold shock cycle tests, which can effectively reduce the risk of lamp failure during the entire life cycle.

At the same time, the thin chip package and large heat dissipation area design take into account miniaturization and thermal management needs, providing customers with greater freedom in the design of compact lamps.
