DaZu Laser plans to invest $150 million to establish an overseas operation center in Southeast Asia

On the evening of February 24th, laser equipment company DaZu Laser announced that the company will further deepen its cultivation in the international market. According to the announcement, the 14th meeting of the 8th board of directors of Dazu Laser has approved the proposal to establish an overseas operation center on February 13th. The company plans to invest a total of no more than 150 million US dollars (approximately 1.071 billion yuan) to construct and operate a hub in Southeast Asia. This major strategic initiative aims to be close to the international market, accelerate the expansion of the company's global business by optimizing resource allocation and enhancing overseas service capabilities. In terms of project implementation details, Dazu Laser has clarified that the overseas operation center will be constructed and operated by the company or its subsidiaries. The implementation location of the project will be selected in Southeast Asia, and the specific location will depend on the final site selection results. According to the announcement, the $150 million required for the project is entirely self raised by the company, and the project implementation period is expected to not exceed 36 months, starting from the date of obtaining construction land or existing property rights. Dazu Laser stated that establishing a Southeast Asian operations center is an inevitable choice for the company's business development and strategic planning. Through this move, the company can directly connect with overseas customer needs, significantly shorten service response time, and effectively seize the market growth opportunities brought by the upgrading of Southeast Asian manufacturing industry. Dazu Laser hopes to further enhance its international competitiveness and increase its brand's market share and influence in overseas markets. Although the investment amount is relatively large, the company believes that the project does not have a significant impact on its current main business and has a positive promoting effect on the company's long-term development in the future. Faced with a complex overseas operating environment, Dazu Laser has also assessed potential risks in its announcement. The company pointed out that there are certain differences between the laws, regulations, policy systems, cultural characteristics, and business environment in Southeast Asia and the Chinese market, coupled with the uncertainty of the geopolitical environment, which poses certain challenges to the implementation of the project. In addition, the project construction involves the acquisition of land or buildings, and the relevant agreements have not yet been officially signed. There are still variables in the project site selection and construction progress.
