KTC: Monitor products may increase in price

On August 14, the KTC team released the "Instructions and Commitments on Product Price Adjustments" on Station B, indicating that the price of the display product line may be increased in the future.

The team mentioned that the continued price increase of core components has led to a significant increase in display production costs, and KTC has been unable to absorb the additional cost pressure alone. KTC said that "the current pricing window period has a high cost performance" and recommended that users with clear purchase needs in the near future plan their purchase opportunities appropriately.

It is reported that KTC focuses on the production, research and sales of high-quality e-sports monitors and is a brand of Kangguan Technology. The latter's main business is the research and development, design, production and sales of intelligent display products. Its main products include intelligent interactive tablets, innovative display products, professional display products and smart TVs.

Financial report data shows that in the first quarter of 2026, Kangguan Technology achieved revenue of 3.492 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 11.14%; the net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 155 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 27.64%.

It is worth mentioning that AOC, a brand of TPV Technology, has recently announced that it will adjust the prices of the brand's full range of monitors, showing a certain increase. The main reason for this price increase is that due to changes in the market environment, the cost of materials such as upstream chips and motherboards has increased, which in turn has pushed up the overall procurement and production costs of displays.
