On April 8, Samsung announced that the company will launch a 115-inch RGB Micro LED TV this year. This TV is part of the Neo QLED TV product line and is positioned as an ultra-high-end version. For comparison, the current Samsung Neo QLED TV product line usually uses Mini LED backlight technology.

According to reports, this RGB Micro LED TV uses red, green, and blue LEDs as backlight sources, and can maintain high color purity after passing through color filters. Compared with current Samsung Mini LED TVs, the color purity is better. Additionally, as the "Micro LED" name suggests, the TV uses smaller LED chips, allowing for a greater number of local dimming zones, resulting in higher contrast ratios.
Samsung also claims that this RGB Micro LED TV supports full color gamut local dimming and reduces power consumption by 20% compared to previous models. In addition to the 115-inch version, Samsung will also launch three sizes: 75, 85 and 98 inches.
In terms of release time, IT House noticed that foreign media The Elec revealed that Samsung plans to officially release a series of TVs in June, but the specific time is not yet known.
