TSMC will produce optical communication interconnect products based on MicroLED

TSMC announced that it will cooperate with the American startup Avicena to produce interconnect products based on MicroLED. This technology replaces electrical connections with optical communication to meet the high communication needs between more and more GPUs in a low-cost, energy-efficient manner.
