The world's longest continuous LED giant screen will light up the opening ceremony of the Chengdu World Games

On the evening of August 7, the Chengdu World Games will open at the Tianfu International Conference Center. At the opening ceremony, a giant LED screen with an area of approximately 11,000 square meters and the world's longest continuous LED screen will present a stunning visual picture. This giant screen, which plays the core visual presentation of the opening ceremony, is supported by the display technology of leading technology companies in Chengdu High-tech Zone.

As the "visual responsibility" for the opening ceremony of the World Games, the outdoor digital display screen of Chengdu Tianfu International Conference Center has a total length of 408.5 meters and a width of 26.7 meters. It incorporates more than 40,000 meters of customized LED display units and has a viewing distance of 6 kilometers. This huge display screen is installed on the wooden structure eaves of the front hall of the Tianfu International Conference Center. The eaves is the largest single wooden structure building in Asia and is called "Tianfu Eaves". This screen is also named "Tianfu Big Eaves".

"Tianfu Big Eaves" will perfectly combine customized and unique LED display units with the Chinese tile structure of Tianfu Eaves, and achieve breakthrough innovations in design, products, content, models, management, etc. The design retains the original architectural appearance of the "Eaves of Heaven" tiles to the greatest extent; through the introduction of technology, the entire screen has strong protection and can cope with all kinds of bad weather; the ultra-high brightness of its display solves the problem of color cast at large viewing angles; features such as super-intelligent photosensitivity and ultra-intelligent color adjustment can also allow the Eaves of Tianfu to adapt to various complex and changeable outdoor environments, allowing it to maintain excellent visual effects in strong light environments.

It is reported that since the lights were first turned on on New Year’s Eve in 2024, the “Tianfu Big Roof” has been widely used in Olympic event broadcasts, New Year’s Eve parties, holiday light shows and other scenarios.
