The official introduction of the East Lake National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone stated that Xingkey Semiconductor settled in Optics Valley in October 2024. It only took 8 months to complete the construction of the factory and move in the equipment, and the number of intellectual property rights exceeded 100.

IT House inquired and learned that Micro LED It is an important direction for the next generation of display technology. The core is to shrink the light-emitting unit of the third-generation semiconductor material gallium nitride to the micron level or even the nanometer level, and highly integrate the array. It has the characteristics of extremely fast response speed, excellent contrast and color saturation, high stability and long life, and is suitable for near-eye display applications.

Officially, StarKey Semiconductor uses 8-inch gallium nitride on silicon LED Epitaxial technology, due to its mature lossless silicon removal technology, can achieve excellent yields and is highly compatible with the 8-inch CMOS semiconductor chip process. The product can be applied to AR/MR glasses. After the line is successfully connected, the company will focus on ramping up production capacity, improving yield, optimizing costs, etc., and build the Optics Valley production line into a global Micro LED benchmark production line.
