AR swimming goggles company Light Particle Technology completed two rounds of financing in half a year

Recently, relevant media reported that AR smart sports glasses brand Guangparticle Technology has completed a new round of Pre-B round of financing. The investors are Guangdong Financial Group and Dimension Capital. The financing amount has not been disclosed. This is the second Pre-B round of financing completed by Light Particle Technology in 2026. Previously, Optical Particle Technology received an investment of nearly 100 million yuan from Hangzhou High-tech Financial Investment in March this year.

Light Particle Technology was founded in 2017 by a doctoral team from the Department of Optoelectronics of Zhejiang University. It uses self-developed holographic resin optical waveguide technology to enter the AR sports glasses track.

Unlike most peers who flock to general-purpose AI glasses, Light Particles has chosen differentiated underwater scenes. In 2021, Lightparticle Technology launched Holoswim, the world's first mass-produced holographic resin optical waveguide AR smart swimming goggles, to solve the pain point of invisible motion data during swimming and solve engineering problems such as waterproof sealing, low power consumption, and small-volume display.

Since then, products have continued to iterate. Lightparticle Technology has launched Holoswim 2S, Holoswim 2SE and other models, and will enter Decathlon sales channels in 2025. In the same year, the company reached a strategic cooperation with LOHO and launched the jointly branded AR smart sports glasses Holotrek for outdoor scenes such as cycling and running. SollaWave AI smart audio swimming goggles were also launched.

In March this year, Lightparticle Technology released its latest product, Holoswim 3, which weighs only 70 grams. The diagonal field of view has been increased to 28°. It supports real-time underwater data display, heart rate monitoring, GPS track recording and direction guidance. The target users have expanded from pool trainers to triathlon and open water people.
