Maximum brightness 53,300 nits, South Korea develops stretchable QLED display

Next-generation displays that can be stretched freely, fit like skin, while maintaining top brightness and image quality are moving from the laboratory to reality.

According to news from the Korea National Research Foundation on September 15, Professor Choi Moon-ki's team at the Ulsan Institute of Science and Technology, Professor Yang Jiwoong's team at Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology, and Kim Dae-young's deputy director team at the Nanoparticle Research Center of the Korea Institute of Basic Sciences, successfully developed an ultra-high-resolution stretchable quantum dot light-emitting diode. The relevant results have been published online in the international journal "Nature Nanotechnology".
