Fluence partners with REMY to provide horticulture lighting technology for Israeli cannabis market

On August 11, Fluence, a provider of LED plant lighting solutions, stated on its official website that the company is cooperating with REMY, a plant lighting supplier focused on the Israeli agricultural market, to introduce lighting technology solutions into medical cannabis cultivation facilities in Israel.

It is understood that Israel is considered a leading country in cannabis research, cultivation and advanced regulation. Through highly innovative cultivation technology and data applications, Israel occupies a leading position in the global cannabis market. The country now has more supply capacity than its domestic cannabis needs. As the Israeli cannabis cultivation market matures, more and more indoor farms are adopting advanced controlled environment farming strategies that optimize plant growth and increase cultivation profits.

Currently, the design of horticultural lighting products combining REMY expertise and Fluence has been applied to the main types of cultivation facilities for medical cannabis in Israel: greenhouses, indoors and vertical farms.

Greenhouse
